Hello September, It’s been hot and rainy as usually here in Wellington Florida, and we are all looking forward to our beautiful fall and winter weather. People really do get out in this heat and buy homes, some looking for great deals other looking for replacement home because their home is in escrow and they have to buy. There were a total of 112 homes sold in Wellington in August with a median price of $329,950.00 up from $327,500.00 in July. With 254 homes is escrow as of september 10th, I feel september will also be a strong month for home sales in Wellington Fl. Available home inventory is on the decline, 622 homes for sale down from 669 in august, and that means we are heading into a sellers market, with less than a five month supply, that’s generally good for sellers, but for buyers if you find that property have your realtor® write an good offer quickly.
What does this all mean for the months ahead, we need homes to sell, so if you are thinking about selling your Wellington Fl home, now may be the right time. I believe that the seasonal market ahead will be strong, We are already seeing a big demand in seasonal rentals, that means more people are coming here for many reasons, whether it’s for Polo, the winter equestrian festival, or just to enjoy our perfect weather, I expect it to be a busy time.
