The October numbers are in, and I feel that the Wellington Real Estate Market is still moving towards a Sellers market, with well priced and updated homes selling quickly. In October there were a total of 126 homes sold, with a median sales price of $301,000.00, and with a median of 42 days on the market. Homes for sale inventory is now at 637, up from 622 in September, that give us less then six months supply of available homes for sale at the current pace.
With the talk of interest rates going up for buyer securing financing, it might have a hurry up and buy affect in the near term, but will have some degree of downward pressure on home prices as we go into 2016.
